I have been in church ministry my whole life. Following God’s call has led me from Nebraska, to Kentucky, to Iowa, to Nebraska (again), then to South Dakota, and, finally, New York.
I met my wife, Becky, in Kentucky and we have journeyed together ever since. In 2017, I accepted a call to serve as Lead Pastor here, at Hillside Wesleyan. We have two children that continue to enrich our lives, Lily and Josiah. My hobbies include Star Wars, superhero movies and the NBA (Go Celtics!). “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them: I will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh”. I made a commitment to follow Jesus while attending Kids’ Camp at the age of 12. I received a call to ministry in my twenties while attending Houghton College and have served in the church as staff and volunteer ever since.
I love helping children know Jesus, especially the littlest ones of early childhood age. I have taught a preschool music and movement ministry called Sing n' Sprout since 2015. Currently, I teach the two-year-old class at My Sunshine School in Allegany. I will never turn down "teatime", encouraging and supporting women in their walk with Jesus. Another of my greatest joys is serving my family, Dan, Lily, and Josiah. Among my favorite activities are gardening, hiking, and baking. |
