After much praying and a decent amount of healthy debate, the LBA has agreed that these will be our safety protocols going forward into fall.
The fall schedule will resume as if COVID is not an issue e.g., church, Sunday School, small groups, youth groups, etc.
The use of masks will be based upon the level of transmission in our community using theses 2 indicators (information we will gather from the Catt. County website):
New cases per 100,000 persons in the past 7 days.
Percentage of positive tests in the past 7 days.
If we fall in the substantial or high transmission categories we will wear masks while indoors, but they can be removed while seated in the pews or chairs.
If we fall in the low or moderate transmission categories masks will be optional.
If you are feeling ill, please stay home and take care of yourself.
To let you know if we are in the red (substantial or high transmission) or the green (moderate to low) we will have a sign on the outside bulletin board that will either have a red "mask up" sign or a green "masks optional" sign. We ask you carry a mask with you to the church just in case we need to wear them in. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we endeavor to do what is right and safe for our church family.
