Hillside Wesleyan Church
Loving, Serving, and Revealing Jesus

Hillside Wesleyan Church

Exists To:

CELEBRATE: celebrate life together, enjoy being His kids, and enjoy being a family.

LEARN: learn about the Bible, Jesus, and what it means to follow Him.

INTRODUCE: introduce others to Jesus; we all need Him.

MAGNIFY: magnify and worship our Lord, every day in every way.

BUILD: build up the kingdom by ministering in our Spirit-given gifts.

About Hillside

We are a body of people who believes that Jesus is real.  He truly lived, died, and rose again as the Bible tells us.  We have dedicated our lives to following what He teaches, and together we are learning how to do so.

We believe that Jesus wants us to truly love God and all people.  We don’t always do it right, but again, we are learning.  We wish to be known as a church that loves people whether they agree with us or not.  We wish to be known as a church that loves our neighbors and loves you.

We believe that love means being patient and kind to people.  Love accepts people, warts and all.  We believe love also requires compassion, openness and honesty in dealing with the warts.  It is not loving to withhold help, and Jesus has the best help available for our deepest problems.

We believe that as we follow Jesus, He can free us from guilt, fear and shame, and can transform our lives and relationships.

We believe that one of the best ways to show Jesus’ love is to serve and encourage people.  We work diligently to help people in our own community and through out the world.

We relish the opportunity to serve you.
